Bayern Munich open talks to sign experienced Monaco defender
The work on summer transfers has begun at Bayern Munich as the German club looks to strengthen the squad in multiple areas. Maripan’s current deal at Monaco is set to expire in 2024, so Bayern will not have to pay a crazy fee to complete this transfer.

The arrival of a new central defender may impact the future of Tanguy Nianzou. The Bavarian club also needs to make a decision regarding Chris Richards.
